Won first place on the recent Olioboard contest for mid-century kitchen design.

I love the colors of mid-century kitchens and I also love the LeCornue sink and stove.  I have to say, it is pretty cool to win a contest on Olioboard especially since I am not an interior decoator.  I think I have good taste and I know what I like.  Having professionals in the interior design business respect my designs is a wonderful feeling!

Holiday displays that aren't cheezy!

You can buy some inexpensive photo frames and display your photos in them.  You can even put a holiday card in the frame.  Another idea is to spray paint an inexpensive frame with metallic spray paint.  Metallics match everything and are festive!

Buy some inexpensive (or not inexpensive) holiday balls or ornaments and put them in apothecary jars to display on the table.  These are no fuss, easy to make and easy to clean up too!

Holiday ornaments in apothecary jars gives an added touch that looks sophisticated.  During other seasons, you can even change what is inside the jar to fit the occasion!
